Sacred Study has been unfolding
While we've been travelling Australia over the past ten months, another journey has been quietly unfolding beneath the surface.
A journey into the deeper study and embodiment of sacred tattooing.
Throughout this time, I've had the privilege of working closely with Ashley River through mentorship, alongside further learning in masterclasses with her and Rachel Christian. These experiences have helped shape and strengthen the vision that has been calling me forward for many years.
Not simply creating beautiful tattoos, but creating intentional spaces where tattooing becomes a meaningful rite of passage.
The mentorship with Ashley especially helped weave together my intention of offering ceremonial tattoo experiences that honour the threshold between who we have been and who we are becoming.
Alongside my tattoo practice, I've been studying yoga, pranayama, sound healing, nervous system regulation, and practices that support the parasympathetic state where the body can soften, integrate, and receive. Further studies in Reiki and soul-based healing modalities are also beginning to unfold as part of this path.
What fascinates me most is how these practices intersect.
How intention, breath, embodiment, energy, and symbolism can support meaningful transformation.
I'm also exploring the relationship between tattoo placement, the chakra system, and energetic meridians within the body. The body carries stories, memories, and meaning, and placement can become another layer of intention within the tattoo process itself.
Of course, healing is never something that can be given to another person.
The journey belongs to the individual walking it.
What I hope to offer is a space that supports that journey. A space where people can slow down, connect with themselves, honour their intentions, and cross meaningful thresholds with presence and awareness.
There is still much to learn, embody, and explore.
For now, I'm devoted to the study, practice, and integration of these teachings so that when the time comes, I can hold these spaces with integrity, intention, and care.
More on that journey soon my beautiful souls.
