Taking the leap of faith.

11 months ago I left my world behind. I left the everyday hustle and bustle. This took about 12 months to organize, and about 6 years on top of that of manifesting.

I'll be honest with you, I couldn't have done it like this without my incredible partner, but that's not where I started off.

Rewind 6 years ago 2020, I was renting, working full-time in a carpet manufacturer office, co-existing with an avoidant boyfriend and just starting my journey as a tattoo artist. I promise you it wasn't easy, I had obstacles from all angles come at me. How could I keep pushing for a tattoo apprenticeship when nothing was in my favor? A demand for work, for bills to be paid, for a partner that didn’t want to support our future. Honestly, looking back I don't exactly know how I pushed through. Now I realize, it was an inner calling that kept giving me the pull.

My guides kept leaving little crumbs for me to follow. I pushed through my apprenticeship, I focused all of my free time on improving my skills as an artist, and striving to get myself clients as a new apprentice! I used tiktok, Facebook, Instagram to showcase myself as best as I could.

The transition from work to tattooing wasn't easy either. I quit my full-time job all of a sudden due to the environment being intoxicated, and I got myself 2 jobs, I played football that I earnt a little bit of money, so training was a must, and I started tattooing more. This wasn't a good balance either!

I was able to do this for 6 months before fully transitioning into tattooing. At that time, my personal home life blew up (thank goodness in the long run!), my step father was dying in a completely different state, and my tattoo studios were changing.

So I left Melbourne for Cairns, to help my parents. That was the first leap of faith I took.

The grief took over, my step father had passed, my mother was a mess and I was lost. The only foundation I had was tattooing.

There was something missing though, something calling me deeper into my work as a tattoo artist. Meaning.

I started to explore symbols, meanings, styles and my own spiritual path to unravel a whole new world of what tattooing could offer.

I found inner peace in yoga through a local studio where I could focus on my mind, spirit and body. Where sound healing in those sessions opened up my third eye. I sought a connection to my step father, to my highest self and my spirit guides.

I met the love of my life, a soul full of compassion, love and so much peace within himself. He was the guiding light that made me shine brightest when I was with him.

It's now 2024, I take my second leap of faith. I move back down to Melbourne to begin a life with my partner. You see, we did long distance for about 12 months while I stayed with my mum, while we grieved and started to set her up on a life without her soul mate.

I instantly found a studio that took me in, and from there I dove deeper into doing meaningful tattoos for clients, I don't think my tattoo studio pals quite understood what I was doing, but I kept doing it anyway, I could feel the pulling tugging me along.

I met a beautiful soul sister who does exactly what I felt calling to me in a little studio 15 minutes away! We connected straight away, she does yoga, sound healing, reiki.. all of the things I've started to embark on, but she was deeper in this practise.

My partner and I spent 12 months there, working, saving and preparing for our biggest leap of faith, to leave Melbourne, leave our home, and turn our new home into a 25 year old caravan, embarking around the big AU.

This was the hardest and best decision we had ever made. We could take a step back from the busy hustle and bustle life, and take each day at a time.

It's now 2026 and I can happily say my path as an intuitive tattoo artist was not lost. On this incredible trip that we are still exploring now, I have dove into the complete depths of what my soul has been calling. I have studied ceremony, yoga, sound healing, reiki, soul regression.

I can feel my purpose radiating from my heart, from my intuition, my highest self, my spirit guides and the connection I have formed with my history, my ancestors and the amazing land spirits across this beautiful country we have the privilege to call home.

I have so much to offer, and I will continue to unravel all of what I can feel needs to spill out of me. I feel so special and honoured to find my purpose, to have the opportunity to help those who want to embark on incredible tattoo threshold journeys. I have always known, that tattoos are more than what's on the skin, and I now have the opportunities to share with as many people as possible the benefits and soul healing abilities of inviting in the medicine of ceremonies, plant spirits, sound healing and embodying tattoos.

This little journal was just my first entry, a little bit about me and the path I've taken.
